This past week our International Sales Manager, Joe Arnold, returned from a two week trip through Brazil with our partner Quimica Nova Brazil (QNB) where SIXIN was able to visit 7 new pulp mills who expressed interest in new technologies and process improvements.
SIXIN’s approach is simple: Sit down with the mill experts who understand their process, get a detailed understanding of what improvements the mill hopes to see, understand the types of foam which are causing the inhibition of performance, explain the antifoam material modifications which can be made to accomplish the goal, and implement the solution.
SIXIN is one of the only raw material suppliers that offer this face to face technical expertise to the pulp mills throughout the world. We understand foams and we design the technology to control them. These unique materials are provided to our service company partners for implementation.
With our new supply chain coming online in the USA, our reach will be even greater and our ability to provide expertise to a wider range of customers is ever expanding.

SIXIN knows that a stable supply chain is as critical to our business as the quality of our antifoams. SIXIN has a central distribution hub within the EU for all our customers in Europe that have concerns about long lead times and instability risk with freight from China. This month we met with our key partners around Europe to make sure that their goals and ours are in alignment so the future can bright for all.
On Friday October 14, 2022 SIXIN’s corporate and production headquarters held our employee development day. The staff was invited off site for team building, games, food, and relaxation. We thank everyone in our company who has worked hard to contribute to our vision, increase growth, and given the best of themselves for the benefit of everyone. You’re the team we need to succeed!
SIXIN had the privilege of working with a pulp mill in Australia to optimize their pulp washing process. The mill has trialed several key competitors in recent months with no success, and has worked with SIXIN and our service partner to develop an antifoam which can meet the performance demands required for max output. SIXIN’s back integrated technology allows us to modify existing formulations or develop brand new ones so that the regulatory, performance, and material demands of any given production site can be met. The trials and engineering were managed by our International Sales Manager, Joe Arnold. Way to go!
SIXIN North America, Inc. is back from a successful trip to Brazil to meet with our partner QNB/Nova Brasil. Nova Brasil and SIXIN have been working together in the pulp and paper market on antifoam design and implementation projects which have brought Klabin, Westrock, and Westvaco cleaner fiber and better recovery. The last 9 months, SIXIN has collaborated with industry leaders in concrete and dry mortar to improve our powder antifoam line in the building sector. As of this month, our project is complete, commercialized, and implemented into the market!
