Work History Summary: Scott has worked in the pulp and paper industry for over 30 years, specializing in the application and implementation of all process chemicals on paper machines and pulp processes. His proven track record of improving machine efficiency, trouble shooting chemical disturbances, technical service, and mill relationships have made him a valuable addition to the SIXIN team. Scott joined SIXIN in 2016 and resides in our Portland, OR area office location.
Job Description and Duties: Scott consults for SIXIN on pulp and paper projects, both on site and digital troubleshooting. When necessary, Scott travels with the SIXIN team to optimize washers and paper machines around the globe.
Fun Facts: Scott is very active in his church activities and participates in mission trips each year to help people in need around the world. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has played in several bands through the years. Raised in Southern Oregon, he is a fan of the outdoors and target shooting. He enjoys time with his family and dog!
